MVRIX has been selected for the 'Development of Antiviral Treatments for RNA Virus Infectious Diseases (Disease X)' project organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

This antiviral development research project is designed to respond to unknown infectious diseases (Disease X) that may occur in the post-COVID era. MVRIX intends to carry out this project by developing a treatment utilizing a mechanism that completely inactivates the virus by bursting the viral envelope of a nanodisk-based antiviral agent (NDA).
